Instructions: seesaw box

Today we would like to show you the instructions for this sweet seesaw box. It is perfect for beautifully packaging small items and can be decorated to your heart's content.

What you need for this:

Step 1

Cut the design paper to the dimensions 25 cm x 23 cm.

Step 2

The long side must now be folded at 1 cm, 7 cm, 13 cm and 19 cm. Feel free to use your paper cutter with a folding board to help you with this.

Step 3

Now fold the short side on the right and left:

a) 2cm and 3.5cm

b) In the 2nd and 4th fields at a height of 11.5 cm (see drawing)

Step 4

Using a folding pencil, you can now draw the slanted lines of the diamond by connecting the ends of the horizontal line to the center of the top and bottom lines, each 3 cm from the edge of the field.

Step 5

Now you can cut away the outer four fields along the red line and refold all the lines. Make sure you fold the diagonals of the diamond back and all other lines in the opposite direction.

Step 6

To shape the box, attach a strip of tape to the adhesive tab and press the ends together a little. The inner sides of the box slide towards each other.
